The WAVE Prosocial Instructional Curriculum is the clinical companion to the WAVE Prosocial textbook (Rehfeldt & Dixon, 2025): 225 ready-to-deliver, one-page lesson protocols organized into five intervention domains: Social Foundations, Conversation & Relationships, Daily Living & Functional Skills, Flexibility & Tolerance, and Expanding Interests & Sensory Engagement. Every lesson runs as a small group of two to eight learners working toward a real outcome, such as cooking a meal, designing a banner, playing a game, or sending a card. Each protocol pairs a direct teaching goal with one of the six core ACT processes and a prosocial extension that carries the group's work out into the community, and every lesson is categorized within a framework supporting medical necessity in autism care. What makes WAVE different is that every learner joins the same activity at their own level. The eight-level Social-Behavior (SB) framework lets a clinician deliver one lesson to a mixed group, holding each learner to an individualized goal from simply remaining present at SB1 to leading and reflecting on the group's impact at SB8. This text contains SB-Goal Crosswalks for all five domains showing exactly how to scale intervention when the learner is ready to do so. The volume includes a complete step-by-step walkthrough of a typical session, reproducible group data sheets in two scoring versions, and the WAVE Progress Map suite for tracking every learner across domains and levels, session by session.
